Hatchet Hatchet is a book about a 13 year old kid named Brian who recess lands in the Canadian state of nature and has to survive on his own. Brian is flying to Alaska to vend his dad for the summer when suddenly the pilot has a worked up state attack and dies. He grabs onto the controls and tries to land the plane exclusively theres no flat area so he decides to crash into a lake.
